ALBION ONE VS METROPOLIS ARK 1 LICENSE
I got a cheap, old Kontakt license on eBay and waited for the NI summer sale and upgraded it to Komplete for very little money. It's sounds good, but the articulations are very limited.) (I have experience with Project Sam's free orchestra. What do you guys think about Albion One and Metropolis Ark 1? Would this packs not have a much higher quality as BBC and Labs? Then all kinds of Kontakt sample packages will be available to you.įor instance Redroom Palette was £80 a few months ago on promotion but it's about 300 dollars normally.
ALBION ONE VS METROPOLIS ARK 1 UPGRADE
I can recommend waiting to find a deal on Native Instruments Komplete (8-12) on eBay or whatever, making sure it's not an upgrade or crossgrade version as they won't have Kontakt or Reaktor to upgrade from. So I will suggest keeping to the freebies and deals until next summer sales for the best deals, or pick up Winter promotions and Black Friday.
ALBION ONE VS METROPOLIS ARK 1 SOFTWARE
I've noticed this is a trend - almost like clockwork someone is asking for software that would've literally been hundreds of pounds cheaper just days ago. Unfortunately the OP is asking this question straight after the summer sales (with the dramatic price discounts across the board from the likes of NI and IK). I haven't even kept the Spitfire freebies on my machine and I don't have any of the really serious libraries. To get close to the quality of LABS and BBC Orchestra you probably would have to pay more than 400-600.Ĭ'mon, they're decent enough freebies (easy enough to recommend for free) but really not comparable with hundreds of pounds worth of decent software. but they include a few videos on the page and it sound good. (BBC orchetra also has some serious Trombones!)Īnother promising orchestra pack I´ve found is Projectsam free orchestra.Ĭouldn´t test this obviously. I use the trombone and horn from this one and some other Instruments to create Hanz Zimmer Braaammms. until then you also would have time to safe some money and get to know the "orchestra-instrument-scene" better and maybe find excactly what you´re looking for, for the perfect price. Maybe first get to know BBC Free Orchestra and maybe if you feel comfortable with it, you could upgrade in 6 months or so. BBC ORchestra also has a professional version for 999,- bucks. I would strongly recommend waiting some time to spend money. The problem is, that maybe for that money (400-600) you probablly won´t get the same quality and amount as with LABS and BBC. Some good Solo Strings and Solo Brass would also be fine. What would you recommend with 400-600€ budget, in case the free stuff isn't enough. they are from the highest quality! What a time to be alive. This instruments and tools are totally free. Melda Free FX Bundle - best free standard toolkit selection (EQ, Compressor, Chorus, Flanger, Tremolo, Vibrato, Reverb, Convolution (Amps and Reverbs), Saturator, Amp, Utility, Loudness Meter, Metronome, Tuner.) Melda Monestary Grand - Geat free sampled Piano. also free.Īmpel Guitar and Ampel Bass - also a freebee.

Spitfire LABS - a lot of great sounds and instruments like Piano, Choir, Mandolin, Drums etc. In this and other videos he mentions some affordable Orchestra Libraries that are also great and can be used for professional productions. He is soo entertaining and has some really great tutorials on his channel. he uses the BBC Free Orchestra to write a small piece. Sidenote: Sometimes it would be nice to have a little bit more control over the sound, but you need to see for yourself if it is enough for you. I got it last week and it is really awesome.
ALBION ONE VS METROPOLIS ARK 1 FOR FREE
if you want it for free you need to fill out a quick survey and you need to wait a week until they send it to you. maybe some guitars (acoustic, electric, bass)īBC Free Orchestra from Spitfire - it is free and contains everything you want to have in a classical piece. I am looking for an affordable Vst instruments pack.
